What is GoodMorning.com doing to ensure proper health and safety standards are met during this time?
At our head office and manufacturing facilities across Canada, we have instituted increased hand-washing and wipe-down procedures and implemented work-from-home policies where possible. We are following recommendations as they are issued by the Canadian Government.
As for production, minimal contact is involved in the manufacturing process. Our mattresses are machine-packed in airtight, vacuum-sealed plastic prior to shipping, and contactless delivery is standard. We hope your in-home, 120-night Sleep Trial gives you a safe space to decide on whether your new mattress meets your needs.
Will I experience shipping delays during this time?
Due to COVID-19, you may experience delays in shipping and delivery. We’ll work diligently to keep shipping timelines updated on our website, and you’ll be notified as soon as your mattress ships. You can also monitor updates from FedEx as they happen here.
We ask for your patience and understanding as we work together to deliver the best experience we can under these extraordinary circumstances.
Are there any risks associated with accepting deliveries to my home?
Contactless delivery is standard for GoodMorning.com. Our FedEx delivery partner has also announced a Safety Above All policy, and will not be requesting signatures for deliveries made in Canada for the foreseeable future.
As announced by the World Health Organization, the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.
Will I experience customer service delays during this time?
As efforts to contain COVID-19 continue, we will follow recommendations from Alberta Health Services and the Government of Canada by closing our head office and working remotely.
Response times should not be interrupted; however, should you experience delays, please rest assured that our Customer Service team knows how important it is for you to get a good night’s sleep. We are taking extra special care to serve you during this unique and challenging time.
Will I be able to return my mattress during this time?
To help protect everyone in light of COVID-19, some of our pickup partners have temporarily suspended service. Others have been instructed to adopt social distancing and are no longer permitted to go inside customers’ homes to complete mattress pickups; instead, they kindly request that you leave your mattress outside your door for scheduled pickups until further notice.
We will be honouring in-trial requests for a mattress pickup in a timely manner as soon as we are permitted. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time and look forward to serving you in the future.

Do I need two separate mattresses for the split-king setup?
Yes. Instead of a king-size mattress, you’ll need two Twin XL mattresses – one for either bed base.

What is the weight limit for Podium?
All Podium bed frames are rated to safely support up to 650 lbs total.
Can I use Podium with my existing bed frame?
Yes, provided that your bed frame does not have a fixed central rail or non-removable slats.
Every Podium comes with adjustable legs with three height settings: 7”, 10”, and 13”. Make sure you measure your bed frame before you assemble your Podium, so you know how high you need to extend the adjustable bed.
What types of bed frames are compatible with Podium?
A 3-piece bed frame consisting of a headboard, footboard, and rails.
This design allows your Podium to sit neatly and seamlessly in the middle of the bed frame. Luckily, this is also the most common way bed frames are sold.
Purchase, Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
It usually takes 1 to 3 business days for us to process your order, followed typically by another 1 to 5 business days for shipping. Although these timelines represent the vast majority of deliveries, depending on your location, shipments can take up to 10 business days for delivery.
I’m moving to a new place. When should I place my order?
Podium orders can take up to 10 days to arrive at your door, though the vast majority will arrive well before that. If you need a more precise delivery estimate, please reach out to our customer care team.
Will I need to be home to accept my delivery?
In most locations, a signature is not required and you do not have to be home to accept your order. To find out if there are any exceptions that apply to your location, please reach out to our customer care team.
What should I expect on delivery day?
It’s the day you’ve been waiting for! Your new Podium products are on their way and will be delivered to your building today. The drivers will leave your package(s) right at your door if they feel it’s safe to do so. In the event that delivery is not possible, the driver will attempt redelivery or will leave your package(s) at your local pick up center for you to collect at your convenience. Please remember to follow all instructions on any shipping note or delivery notice left on your door or in your mailbox. Drivers will not be able to carry your new Podium products up flights of stairs or to your bedroom nor will they be able to unbox your package(s) for you.
What should I do if my product arrives damaged?
If your Podium arrives damaged, please contact our customer care team immediately.
Setup & Care
How do I set up my Podium when it arrives?
Once unboxed, Podium is designed to be set up and assembled in 5 easy steps:
- Unfold the base
- Screw the extendable legs into the base
- Flip over the frame
- Attach the mattress retainer bar
- Connect the power cord into the adapter and plug it into a nearby outlet

Can I set up Podium by myself?
We strongly recommend that two able-bodied people are onhand to unbox and assemble your Podium.
Do I need any tools to set up Podium?
No tools are necessary for assembly. Podium is designed for quick and easy setup.
How do I clean my Podium?
For liquid spills, blot the area with a clean, dry cloth. When spot cleaning, use a lightly dampened sponge or a vacuum with a soft brush to remove dirt and debris from the upholstery. For deeper cleaning, you can use a cloth dampened with warm water. Alternatively, a soft-bristle brush can also be used to remove dirt.
After cleaning, simply let the fabric dry.
Metal and Plastic Care
All metal and plastic portions of the bed frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
How can I keep my Podium in great shape for as long as possible?
There are a few ways that you can keep your Podium up and running for a long time to come:
- Care for the fabric
- Do not exceed Podium’s weight limit (650 lbs)
- Do not continuously operate the lifting and lowering mechanisms for more than the recommended 2 minutes per 18-minute time period, as specified in the instruction manual.
- Keep the bed frame away from both direct sunlight and heating sources.
- Follow any other recommendations you see in the manual.
Please note: A certain amount of wear and tear is normal after using your Podium for a while.

How long are the warranty periods for parts and service?
Every Podium is backed by our 3-tier warranty:
- 2 years of full coverage on all service and labour
- 5 years of full coverage on all parts
- 10 years of prorated coverage on the cost of parts

How do I request a refund or get a return?
Due to the nature of this product, there are no refunds or returns available for the Podium bed.
